It has a light, fresh yet sweet and warm fragrance with subtle musky notes. It may remind you of lemongrass, but is a bit softer, but also more complex.

The main component of the oil is citral (up to 85%), which is responsible for its antimicrobial properties - it copes well with bacteria.
