Rose essential oil comes from a plant known as rosewood (Aniba rosaeodora), which belongs to the botanical family Laureaceae. The production of the extract is characterized by a low yield of about 5%, which means that less than 5 kg of essential oil is obtained from 100 kg of raw material. Therefore, it is a very valuable and desirable product. Considered synonymous with sophistication and luxury for centuries, today it is central to aromatherapy and natural medicine.

Rosewood oil - properties

The oil is rich in a chemical substance called linalool (up to 90%), so the product perfectly fights against pathogenic microorganisms - bacteria, viruses and fungi. Used in a diffuser, it supports the work and strengthens the reaction of the immune system. It cleans the air and relieves the symptoms of infection - it removes headache and weakness, it makes breathing easier.

It is a great addition to a massage. The product strongly regenerates and moisturizes, is a support in the treatment of various skin diseases, relieves unpleasant symptoms (such as itching and sensitivity). It is recommended to reduce the appearance of stretch marks, scars and other minor imperfections. The extract is believed to support the lymphatic system and prevent fluid stagnation.

Rosewood is a fresh, sweet and warm fragrance with notes of wood and camphor. Not surprisingly, it has a slight rose aroma.
